3D rendering style of the Nordea Design System shares the core principles of the vector illustration style.

Clear purpose

• Use 3D illustrations in Nordea Web views. Asset library
• Illustrations display objects in an isometric perspective
• Illustrations display objects that contextually relate to the active view

Level of detail

3D illustrations offer a greater level of object detail compared to vector illustrations. We use materials and textures to enhance the shapes of the objects. Using custom specular and normal maps creates immersive shading in the 3D scene.

Colour

We use Nordea Blue and Nordea Deep Blue as the primary colour tones of the 3D illustrations.
