CX & Design shares successes and supports charities with festive gala

This holiday season, the CX & Design community gathered together to celebrate our achievements and share the thanksgiving spirit.

Nordea’s CX & Design community gathered together to celebrate their achievements from the past 6 months at a remote design gala.

Over two days, designers presented their personal and professional highlights with a festive theme of thanksgiving. Each designer shared:

  • 3 top achievements
  • some thanks for a person or team who has supported them.

As well as presenting their own work, each designer got to vote for who they thought should win an award from a choice of categories:

User impact
For work that positively impacts the user experience of a product or service, or resulting from user research

Sustainable design
For design work that aligns with Nordea’s sustainability objectives, or promotes sustainable practice

Personal development
For a demonstration of growth of skillset, disciplines, or other personal growth, within CX & Design

Collaboration
For exemplary facilitation, teamwork or collaboration practices, either within CX & Design or with stakeholders

Grand Prix
An award that highlights overall exceptional achievements, decided on by design leads.

Huge congratulations to our winners: Andrew Payne, Arya Sohrabizadeh, Flavio Budoia, Freja Mark, Konstantin Fedorov, Marek Martuszewski, Marcela Machuca, Mikko Pyykkonen, and Pouyan Mohseninia.

In the spirit of thanksgiving, each winner was awarded an amount to donate to a cause of their choice. Our designers chose to support:

Thanks to all of our designers for taking part and sharing their 2021 successes with the team.
